Medium soft: The medium soft bassoon reeds are made from Gonzalez tube cane, chosen carefully and hand split. They are hand gouged, profiled, and shaped with Rieger machines. The shape is a Rieger #2. They are wrapped in bright and colorful cotton thread. The final blade length is between 26mm and 27mm from the collar. These reeds play easily and immediately, and have a wonderful warm tone. Medium: The medium bassoon reeds are made from Vandoren tube cane, chosen carefully and hand split. They are hand gouged, profiled, and shaped with Rieger machines. The shape is a Rieger #2. They are wrapped in bright and colorful cotton thread. The final blade length is between 26mm and 27mm from the collar. These reeds will take a little time to break in, but will have longer life and a round, full sound. No returns on reeds unless damaged in the mail. Damaged reeds must be returned within 7 days. Please email or call before returning. -
